Alpine building at the Aix-les-Bains thermal baths, Vincent Callebaut, lead architect, Architect of Historic Monuments, Archipat. SEMPERVIRENS landscape package, full project underway.

Concept: The greening of the architecture is inspired by alpine ecosystems, their layering according to altitude, and their orientation in relation to the sun. The plantings are also irrigated using gravity flow to minimize maintenance. The plant palette is adapted to the extreme weather conditions caused by northerly winds and snowfall.
Located in the spa town of Aix-les-Bains, the project takes place above Art Deco baths and allows for the complete renovation of the listed building.
