Garden of the French Embassy in Thailand in Bangkok
The garden symbolizes the links between France and Thailand. The main courtyard is planted with old bonsais in keeping with the traditions of the art of Thai gardens. In the center of the parterre, between the poles of the French and European flags, a traveller's tree symbolizes friendship and exchanges between France and Thailand. A cinematic effect is created when one walks to enter the chancellery, the fan shape is gradually revealed as one approaches the entrance of the building.
